Top o' the Bluff Cache Traditional Cache

This cache is camouflaged .30 caliber ammo can containing some nice swag and a logbook. It is a very straight forward hide which you should find in a short time. Please respect the rights of the property owners which border this public access. We added an additional 2.5 points to the difficulty rating only because of the ferry trip across Death’s Door which is needed to get to Washington Island.

Children brought to this site must be closely supervised at all times. Please instruct everyone to stay behind the steel cables and away from the edge of the bluff. Sittin’ on top of the world. We estimate you are approximately eighty-five feet above the lake at this point. To the northwest approximately three tenths of a mile lies Boyer Bluff light tower which is the highest navigational aid on the U.S. Great Lakes. From this vantage point, you can see an assortment of land masses stretching out over the horizon. Can you guess what they are?
