The idea behind this cache is to utilize new areas for geocaching around the Galesburg / Knox County area. The cache is located in James Knox Park in historic Knoxville, at the coordinates listed above. It is hidden along the tree line at the southern edge of the park. It is NOT around the restored Newman Rural School. The cache is a small, traditional cache and it contains a log book, pen, small tradeables and signature items. FTF gets bragging rights and a special prize. This is our first cache and we hope you enjoy looking for it as much as we enjoyed putting it together and hiding it. Please follow the posted park rules and be kind to the environment. Re-hide the cache carefully and watch out for muggles. The cache is hidden with the permission of Bart Randall, Chairman, Knoxville Park Board. Good Luck!
