I hike this trail a lot with my dog because it is an off-leash area and Sydney enjoys being able to run about and do what she does best: be a spastic, carefree dog.
I named this cache Earth, Wind and Fire…
- The cache is close to the earth (there is your hint).
- There is always a nice breeze that goes down the trail.
- If you are from Bellingham you will probably know that 10 years ago a natural gas fire ripped through the area and tragically killed three people.
While the fire was tragic, it's amazing how nature bounces back. So when you go out geocaching remember to take care of the beautiful nature that surrounds you because it can be taken away in an instant. Trash in, Trash out—I encourage you to keep this area clean.
