Lassbyforsen är ett populärt fiskeställe. Forsen är inne på sin tredje bro. Den första rasade 1936, den andra färdas du över under vintern på Malmens led och den nuvarande byggdes på 1950-talet. Det finns lämningar av en kvarn och såg under vattnet som fanns under storhetstiden på slutet av 1800-talet. En tjärfabrik fanns också under 1940-talet. Var försiktig! Halt när det är vått. Platsen är familjevänlig, men behållaren bör hämtas av en vuxen i god form. Kan eventuellt nås vintertid under stor försiktighet.
Lassbyforsen is a popular place for fishing. The traffic is now passing on the third bridge in history. The first bridge collapsed in 1936, the second is now working as a snowmobile bridge for the famous trail Malmens led, which is a historical trail for ore that was transported between Malmberget and Strömsund by reindeers. There are remains of a mill and a saw from the end of 19’th century underneath the water. In the end of 1940’th there was also a tar factory in the area. Be careful! Slippery when wet. The place is family friendly but the container should be handled of an adult in good shape. Can eventually be reached in wintertime with precaution.
