Geocache Description:


While caching on this gravel road, we picked up a sharp rock in our tire resulting in air rapidly escaping. After getting the cache (we couldn't just leave it after coming all this way), we drove a few miles to this flat paved place in the road. Having never changed a tire before we had quite an adventure in doing so. Many vehicles passed by and only one stopped to help, a young lady who owns a nearby ranch. She had at least helped someone change a tire once so was a wee bit more experienced than we were. So the four of us (all females) eventually got the spare on the truck only to find out the spare was FLAT too. Called the dealership where we had just recently purchased the vehicle and they brought us a new spare (after much discussion). So what is one to do while sitting for an hour in one place? Find a great location for a cahce of course! This also marks a place to change a tire should one venture onto the sharp gravel road where several other caches live and be so unfortunate as to pick up a gravel monster that eats tires. This is an easy cahce to find, be careful of the stickers, and put your geo-thinking cap on. CONGRATULATIONS NR_TEACHER FOR FTF!!!
