[RO] Formand granita de nord-est a padurii Hoia, Valea Lunga strabate calcare eocene si formeaza Cheile Baciului, cu versanti asimetrici (partea nordina este stancoasa si abrupta, cu roci fosilifere, drept care a fost declarata rezervatie naturala, iar partea sudica este ocupata de padure).

Un mic lac natural, nu prea adanc, se afla in amonte de Cheile Baciului, la marginea padurii. Cateva izvoare cu debit mare si apa potabila izvorasc la marginea de nord a padurii, in Valea Lunga.

Se poate ajunge pe un drum care se desprinde din DN1F din comuna Baciu, sau venind de la Taietura Turcului, pe creasta, prin padurea Hoia.

[EN] Valea Lunga forms the north-east edge of the Hoia forest, going through calcar rocks into the Baciu Gorges. The valley itself is asymetric, the northern side is steep and rocky, with fossil deposits which granted it's status of natural preserve, while the southern side is more gentle, covered by forest).

A small natural lake lies upstream of the gorges. Several springs come out here with drinkable water, supplying some homes downstream.

One can reach the gorges coming from Baciu county on a road that forks off DN1F or from the hilltop coming from Taietura Turcului through Hoia forest.
