Geocache Description:

Ammo can hidden in the woods at White Plains Beach. Placed in Memory of Luke.

Luke Nishikawa was a remarkable young man. He was killed in an automobile accident in November 2008 while a senior at college at Pacific Union College in California.

He was a very happy boy, always smiling, always doing for others, and putting himself last. He was not a geocacher, but I am sure he would have loved it! His Mom, Masumi, gave me her blessing for this cache and wanted it placed at White Plains Beach, where he taught surfing in the summer with the Hawaii Fire Fighters Surf School.

I placed the cache in a wooded area, where there is a place to sit and reflect. Inside the cache, please read about Luke's remarkable short life. He loved the color pink, so there is a nod to that in the cache as well.

The park is open from 7am-8pm May-Sept and 7am-6pm Sept-May, so please go during daylight hours.
