Geocache Description:

This cache is an AMMO CAN hidden along a nice nature trail in Trout Creek Park. Sometimes the terrain rating may go up if we have a lot of rain.

I have really wanted to hide this ammo can for a while and when I saw this swampy spot while walking on the nearby trail with M&M Melted and Flying Lemur, I thought it was a cool place. ...and when I got to this tree, I couldn't believe how many centipedes were living on the tree and the ground. THEY WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE! AWESOME!

So of course I had to hide my cache here. My mom helped me take the coordinate reading and we tested it out so it should be pretty accurate (...of course the tree cover, and the fact that my Mom was getting kind of grossed out by all the centipedes crawling around could cause some slight variations in the GPSr readings, so use your geo-senses while searching!)

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to tell you...if you want to get a good sighting of all the centipedes, the best time to come is from late summer to early fall. That;s their mating season and the female lay the eggs in February.
