Geocache Description:

In Lion's Club Park in Dixon.

Every day on my way to and from work, I drove past this park in Dixon. It has a playground, a pavilion, and a short walking trail. I recently realized that, during the course of my career, I had probably driven past this park around 12,700 times, but I had never stopped! So on my last day of work, I stopped - and looked for a spot to hide a cache! I believe that this may be the first cache ever in Dixon.

You are looking for a painted pre-form container. The park can be a bit busy at times, so please use an appropriate measure of stealth.

This hide has been approved by the Dixon City Clerk, who seemed somewhat amused by the whole concept.

BTW, for the uninitiated, the title of the cache means "Department of the Army Civilian (Retired)". Hooah!
