The Town of Whitehall originally was established several miles to the east of where it is today. In doing so, the Whitehall cemetery was established there as well. Unfortunately when the town founders decided to move the town to where it is presently to take advantage of where the railroad eventually ran, they needed to come up with another name for the new town’s cemetery. In likeness to the township it resides, you now have the Lincoln Cemetery.
The cache container is not in contact with any gravestones, monuments, or other memorials. Please respect the area. Also, take care to replace the cache so that is it not readily visible to the casual passerby.
