Geocache Description:

A quiet place, free from heavy muggle activity. If the site is being used by someone when you arrive, place respect their affairs and come back another time...

The original town of Whitehall was established in and around this area, but with the railway coming through to the west of the Trempealeau River, most of the town moved to a new location to take advantage of what the railway had to offer. Unfortunately the Whitehall Cemetery wasn’t able to make the move as easy as other aspects associated with the town of Whitehall. Today, you will notice many of the older families of the region inscribed on the stones within this cemetery.

The cache container is not in contact with any gravestones, monuments, or other memorials. Please respect the area. Also, take care to replace the cache so that is it not readily visible to the casual passerby.
