John Stead: Time to go - sorry not to have passed to adopt but perhaps someone will copy the idea as frequent cruise and ferry passengers wrote interesting logs

At the world renowned Liverpool Pier Head.
Anyone who has not been to Pier Head for some time will be in for a surprise with the Leeds and Liverpool Canal extension now complete, a new terminal for the Mersey Ferries with the Beatles Experience above and the Museum of Liverpool opened in July 2011. The cache was centrally placed in front of the Three Graces, i.e. the Liver Building, the Cunard Building and the Mersey Docks and Harbour Building but is now a little to the north.
There are plenty of muggles usually around here not least the drivers of buses and coaches on sightseeing runs, so take care.
If you then fancy a trip on the river, ferries sail on the hour during the morning and afternoon away from rush hours and take you to the Wirral side of the river for a short cruise calling at Seacombe for Spaceport and Woodside for the U235 Submarine, in all taking about 50 minutes if you don't get off.
You will need your own pen/pencil and please be sure if has a firm grip when replaced.
The cache has been moved a little from its original location to enable the placement of a new cache nearer the Museum of Liverpool
