Geocache Description:

Lots of water wells in the area

The cache is located in Police Point Park in Medicine Hat Alberta. There was a Royal North West Mounted Police Post here in 1880 and the point by the South Saskatchwan River was a perfect spot to keep their horses. This is the area where the City got its name when there was a battle in the river between the Cree and Blackfoot Indians and the Medicine Man lost his head piece in the river. That was a omen and the battle was lost but the City eventually got its name.
