Welcome to the state of Washington!
Okay, you are not just entering the state of Washington, but some geocachers from California are moving to the area. This cache is in honor of the Travelin' Gnomes from Placerville. Also known as Hangtown. In 1849, this was the heart of the gold country.
Due to job closures, the Travelin' Gnomes are moving to the Great North West. These guys are the ones that got me started in geocaching. So to make them feel more at home, here is a nice and easy cache for them to find. And any other cachers who want a quick find.
The container is a Decon Container that I won at the Lake Tahoe Geo Treasure Hunt Event. I thought I would put it to good use. Just off the trail that the locals use. Watch out for bikes and other walkers.
