This cache has been archived.

oraclebennett: Sad to see this one go after such a great run... but checked today and confirmed it is gone. I live very far west so maintenance is too much work now, as opposed to when I was a regular here... selah Tarzan!!!

Geocache Description:

A nice little town like ours has fallen under siege to the ruthless villains bent on world domination -- Cobra!

Now it is up to America's real heroes, the G.I. Joe team, to save Fort Lauderdale from becoming a nest for snakes and vipers.

Can you help G.I. Joe accomplish its mission and free the city? Only A Real American Hero is worthy of this task. This is not for the casual Joe fan. The journey is long and difficult, so be sure to pack a canteen and some C rations for along the way.

Stage 7: Tarzan's Hangout

"Tarzan" is a master of disguise and one of the most feared Cobra villains. He was born and raised in the Florida swamps and is the man responsible for bringing Cobra to Fort Lauderdale. Few people even know that he is a Cobra agent, as he always goes by the alias "Johnny Weismiller" while hanging out having drinks at his favorite haunt. Rumor has it he likes to pull up to the dock on his cammo skiff and party until the wee hours. After a few beers he lets out his famous "Tarzan Call" at the bar. While the patrons love it for its entertainment value, it is actually a way for him to shout out hidden messages to nearby Cobra operatives.

What Cobra agent hangs out here?

*there is no aditional hint for the hide itself. Just ask yourself, how do you find the master of disguises?

Great prizes await those who can survive the battle. However, a true Joe must be fit both physically AND mentally. Therefore, there will be five questions you must answer and you must also provide a list of all the characters mentioned in the caches to claim your prize.

You are not required to solve anything to find any of the caches, however you CANNOT claim any prizes this way.

While it is suggested to follow the stages in order, it is not imperative that you do so. Full enjoyment should come by following the set order.

You will need your own pen, pencil, marker or crayon to sign most of the logs.

An existing cache by a fellow geocacher is being used with permission during this battle. If you have already visited this cache, it is not necessary that you log it again. I do ask that you post a cache note on geocaching.com and thank the cache owner for his commitment to freedom, and tell him Hugo Nyow sent you.
