This cache is a tribute to the Elkhart County Snowmobile Club. The cache is at one of the trail's trailheads. The Elkhart County Snowmobile Club maintains approxiamatly 59 miles of groomed trail starting in Millersburg, and winding it's way nearby Goshen , Middlebury and Bristol ending up at the State line just South of Mottville Michigan.
The trail is called the Miami Trail for the Miami Tribe that lived in the area for nearly two centuries prior to the Potowatimi Indians and settlers from Europe and the American Colonies.
