Flax has been cultivated in the Hälsingland area for around 2.000 years. This cache is part of a series placed to commemorate this important part of our local history.
This mill just south of Järvsö was part of a number of buldings built in the late 18th century. During the summer it's open to the public for looking around and this is highly recommended. There is a lot of rushing water here so if you have kids, make sure to keep a close eye on them.
