I84 Exit 59, The Eisenman Interchange
Because this spot is so close to Boise and there are few regular caches in the area, it seemed like a good place for a cache.
The Eisenman IC is on the outskirts of Boise next to the prairie. Currently it doesn't get that much traffic but that may change as the city grows. You can find convenient, out-of-the-way parking next to the end-of-road barricade. Although traffic is not heavy you'll still want to be on the lookout if you have kids or pets with you. Watch out for the WinCo warehouse trucks.
After getting buried by a foot of mud and dirt, the original plastic container was replaced with an ammo box in February, 2011 and moved to higher ground. Hopefully, being near a freeway exit, it can be used as a stopping off cache for TB's needing a cross-country move.
