Geocache Description:

This cache is located near the Nimpkish River Falls in Woss. The terrain rating is set to 4 because cation should be used when accessing this cache. The terrain is fairly steep, the trail is narrow and with rain or snow, can become very slippery. After heavy rains, the river can also become very high, watch out for this.

To access the cache, park on the north side of the bridge. There is a trail that will take you down to the river side.

The falls are a great place to come and relax, read a book or do some fishing. Looking upstream, on the left hand side, you'll see a cut in the bedrock. This is a fish ladder that was created to help the Sockeye, Coho and Chinook salmon, as well as Steelhead, on their way to their spawning grounds farther upstream.

Enjoy this spot, it's one of my favorite places on the Nimpkish River.
