Message for newbies: Geocaching is a game. No danger and no police involved :-) . Cache almost on above mentioned coords. Bit tricky to find without spoiler. The GC Police Force is asking for your assistance in the following matter (criminal file nr. 0809): At about 23.10 a special unit of the GC Police Force received the following message: "I am at ehh- I forgot how exactly to pronounce the name of the place: It's this site which started as an agricultural school for Arab children, founded by the Templers. Later it became a home for orphans who survived the genocide of the Armenian people, and than in the beginning of World War I it became a Turkish-German military camp - you know what I am talking about? I read somewhere that in 1917 this famous British general ruled here - I'll probably remember his name later. Afterwards the site became an agricultural school under German management again, but when World War II broke out, all Germans were sent away from the Palestinian territories, so also the school team… In 1948 Holocaust survivors of Buchenwald came to live here. Hello?... Do you know what place I am talking about?… Well anyway, it's somewhere between Rechovot, Ramle and Rishon. So… I was walking around here"… From this moment on, loud music was to be heard in the background: "…heard some noise… seems to be … voice… close by… been kidnapped? [or: being kidnapped?]... Hello?... … Hello?" and than the connection was lost. The GC Police Force takes the call very seriously as it seems that somebody has been kidnapped. Now ever since half of the team is on a summer holiday, the assistance of some Geocachers is needed. Responsible for the case is detective G. Cinnamonn*. Det. Cinnamonn has got a pretty good idea of where the call came from, and even about where the assumed person may be hidden. Ever since he doesn't want any journalists and "disaster tourists" to get to the spot, you may turn to him at g.cinnamonn@gmail.com , with 2 n's in the end, to get an extra hint (Allow a few days to react: He is that busy that he hasn't even read the half yearly statistics yet). Thanks for helping. P.S. I just got an SMS from Ruthi, Det. Cinnamonns secretary. She writes: until new police orders arrive: gate open during week days (Sunday - Thursday) from 10.30 in the morning until midnight. On Fridays gate open from 10.30 until about 2 hours before Shabbath. Closed on Shabbath. • (the initials of his name: GC like in Geo Caching is purely coincidental) • not to be confused with the name of the Belgium detective writer: Georges Simenon
