A Chindrieux,
découvrez la Rochetaillée, une faille rocheuse de 100m de long, 10m
de haut, creusée par l'erosion et traversable à pied. Cachée du
monde par la forêt, elle vous garantit un dépaysement total et en
prime une superbe vue sur la Chautagne et le Lac du Bourget.
Depuis le centre de Chindrieux, garez-vous près du Cimetière (à
deux pas de la Mairie et de l'Eglise) et continuez la route qui
monte (le Chemin des Tigneux) à pied. Le circuit de la
Rochetaillée, une boucle de 2h30 qui offre une ballade entre
"histoire et nature", démarre ici. Suivez le chemin en direction de
"Rochetaillée" (vers le nord-est). 5 minutes de montée vous
ammènent au pied de la faille, traversée par le sentier, et abri de
la cache. Attention, les coordonnées sont peu précises...
munissez-vous d'indices!
Une fois la cache trouvée, continuez à monter un peu pour observer
la vue splendide au belvédère. Ou bien prélassez-vous dans ce lieu
qui traverse les ages en alliant vignes, roches, bois et eau.

In Chindrieux
lies Rochetaillée ("the sharpened stone"), a rocky canyon of
100m long, 10m deep, craved by erosion and crossable by foot.
Hidden from the world by the forest, you will be struck by the
awesomeness of the leak and the view over the Lake and the
Chautagne valley.
From Chindrieux's city mall, park your car near the Cemetary (100m
from the church), and follow the ascending road ("le chemin des
tigneux") by foot. "Le circuit de la Rochetaillée" ("Hike of
Rochetaillée"), a loop of 2h30 that offers a trip "between history
and nature", starts here. Follow the trail that goes north-east to
"Rochetaillée. 5 minutes of climbing after, you're at the bottom of
the leak, that is crossed by the trail, and can start seeking the
cache. Warning, coordinates are not very accurate, be careful
to bring some hints!
Once the cache found, keep on climbing a bit in order to have a
sight at the outstanding view at the "belvédère" (view spot). Or
hang out in this location that goes through the ages, with grapes,
stones, wood and water.
