Les Rocs de Villaz Traditional Cache

Ce cache se trouve sur un superbe chemin entre Villaz (1742m) et Evolène (1371m) dans le Val d’Hérens. On peut le parcourir à partir de trois points de départ : soit depuis Villaz (dernier hameau après La Sage) en prenant le sentier pour Evolène qui commence à la Chapelle de Villaz (30 min). Ou alors en venant de La Sage (p. ex. après avoir découvert le cache situé à la belle Chapelle de St. Christophe) en empruntant le vieux chemin pour Villa. Finalement, pour ceux qui aiment monter, en partant depuis Evolène, plus précisément depuis La Fauchère (45 min).
La vue sur la Dent Blanche, la Dent d’Hérens, les Dents de Veisivi ou le Pigne d’Arolla est magnifique ! Pour les amateurs de via ferrata, il y a un beau parcours partant de ce sentier (un peu plus haut que ‘La Fauchère’).
Le cache ne se trouve pas sur propriété privée. De plus, aucune nécessité de détruire les murs formant ces belles terrasses ! Le cache peut être trouvé sans recourir à de telles mesures. Prière de bien cacher la boite et de veiller à ce que le couvercle soit hermétiquement fermé.
Je séjourne régulièrement dans cette région et je peux de ce fait facilement maintenir ce cache moi-même.
Dieser Cache befindet sich auf einem sehr schönen Weg zwischen Villaz (1742m) und Evolène (1371m) im Val d’Hérens. Man kann diesen Weg von drei Seiten her begehen : entweder von Villaz aus (letzter Weiler nach La Sage) indem man den Weg nach Evolène nimmt, welcher nach der Kapelle von Villa beginnt (ca. 30 Min). Oder von La Sage aus (z.B. nachdem man den Cache bei der schönen Kapelle St. Christophe) indem man den alten Weg nach Villaz nimmt. Oder für diejenigen, die den Weg bergaufwärts nicht scheuen, von Evolène aus, genauer von La Fauchère aus (ca. 45 Min.). Die Sicht auf die Dent Blanche, die Dent d’Hérens, die Dents de Veisivi oder auf den Pigne d’Arolla ist beeindruckend ! Für die Via Ferrata Begeisterten beginnt ein schöner Parcours im unteren Teil des Weges (etwas höher als ‚La Fauchère’).
Dieser Cache befindet sich nicht auf Privatgrund. Es besteht auch kein Anlass die schönen Terrassenmauern zu zerstören. Der Cache ist ohne solche Aktionen zu finden. Bitte Box wieder gut verstecken und darauf achten, dass der Deckel hermetisch verschlossen wird.
Ich halte mich regelmässig in dieser Region auf und kann daher diesen Cache gut selber warten.
This cache is located on a beautiful trail between Villaz (1742 m) and Evolène (1371 m) in the Val d’Hérens. You can start from 3 different villages: from Villaz (last hamlet after La Sage) with the track towards Evolène starting just at the Chapel of Villa (30 min); or from La Sage (e.g. after having logged the cache at the beautiful Chapel of St. Christophe) taking the old tail to Villaz. For those not afraid of climbing, you can also start from Evolène, more precisely from La Fauchère (45 min). The view on the Dent Blanche, the Dent d’Hérens, the Dents de Veisivi or on the Pigne d’Arolla is breathtaking ! For the via ferrata freaks, there is a climbing route in the lower part of this trail (a bit higher than ‘La Fauchère’).
There is no need to invade private land to find this cache, nor to destroy the stonewalls of these beautiful terraces. Please make sure to safely hide the box and to tightly close the lid after logging this cache.
As I regularly sojourn in this region, I can maintain this cache myself.
