Geocache Description:

This is the third, of we hope many caches we will place in villages surrounding Usk. The theme of these will be the prefix Llan meaning church land. The caches will be placed in areas with a view of the local churches. We hope you find the area and architecture as beautiful as we do.

We know the theme of this series is Churches and we have deviated slightly in the title, however the actual cache is located at Trostrey Church.
Llancayo Windmill has always been a local landmark, even more so since it has been lovingly restored.
We were luckly enough to recently spend our wedding weekend staying in the prestigious building and wanted to both mark the occassion and bring this wonderful icon to the attention of others.
From the cache sight you have beautiful views across the Usk Valley.
