Geocache Description:

This cache is the sixth in a series of the locations of the various bonfire societies in East Sussex, it compliments the series by Brightonian of the Lewes Societies.

Fletching bonfire is usually held on the second Saturday in October. It's a small place but attracts a huge crowd, this weekend is the first "True" bonfire and the firesite is renowned for rookies going off every few seconds in the bonfire boys enclosure away from the public.

Fletching is also famous for it's musical fireworks and spectacular flame balls..

Well worth a visit but arrive early as the road closures are put in place very early.

You will need to take a pen or pencil with you.

Enjoy the cache and the next in the series is Firle.
