Nestled along a picturesque run beside one of Hagerstown's busiest roads is a small linear park developed by the Rotary Club of Long Meadow.
Secreted within the park is a letterbox/geocache hybrid. The container itself is a regular sized tupperware container with a logbook, rubber stamp, inkpad, and assorted other trade items. As with all letterboxes please stamp your logbook with the stamp and stamp pad located in the container and sign and stamp the logbook located in the cache container. Please DO NOT take the stamp or stamp pad as these are NOT trade items. Please DO remember to blot your stamps after use on the towels provided and close the stamp pad tightly to help prevent drying out. All other items within the container are fair game.
This cache is dedicated to those who have made my life what it is. Today is my fortieth birthday. Not bad for someone who was born three months early and not supposed to be here at all. "40" is also one of my favorite songs from U2. Quite a simple song really, but one that I enjoy. I also enjoy this secluded little spot so close to the hustle and bustle of Hagerstown's north end. Kind of an oasis in the city. Please do enjoy what other's hands have work to beautify.
This one should be accessible year round, but time will tell. Please be sure to rehide as well as you found so that others may enjoy finding it.

FTF honors go to wirtz!!! Congratulations friend!!!
