Second (!) Annual Middle Meets East Campout Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Seanachai: Greetings from Geocaching.com,

As part of my duties, I am archiving this cache as it has been over 30 days since the event occurred. From the Geocaching.com listing guidelines regarding event caches:

"After the event has passed, the event cache should be archived by the organizer within four weeks."

Thank you for taking the time to create and host this event, but it is time for the listing to be archived.

1st Annual Middle Meets East Campout!

Plan on coming early in the day to enjoy the trails, swimming, canoeing (rentals only, no personal boats allowed) and relaxing or do some caching in the area. One of the most popular loop trails is Hidden Passage Trail and is 10+ miles long. Be sure to be prepared if you decide to tackle this one! In your log, be sure to make mention of any plans to hike or canoe and you can be sure there will be a few folks who will want to join you. Be sure to check out the Pickett State Park link at the top of the page.

We will be setting up camp late in the afternoon and shall enjoy camp food, stories and music if someone brings a guitar! Campsites are First Come First Served. We will, of course, be talking about caching so bring your best story of the most interesting, adventuresome or just plain cool cache.

LET’S GO CAMPING!
