Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Allen Lake State Forest off the C2C snowmobile trail. Trail access is located on Saunders Road at the Belfast/Caneadea town line (right near the state park sign.) Sturdy, waterproof hiking boots/shoes are strongly recommended as trail may be muddy. Hike is approximately 1.5 mi round trip with slight elevation changes and uneven terrain.

This trail borders clearly posted private land at the head. Midway to the cache it becomes state park on both sides. Trail is accessible year round by horseback, foot or snowmobile. ATV use is prohibited.
This trail is also a favorite access point for hunters, both local and out of area. Blaze orange is recommended during hunting season. Wildlife including deer, bear and turkey have been spotted in the area.

The actual cache is a Rubbermaid container designed to hold CDs. It contains assorted toys and a $25 restaurant.com gift card for FTF.
