St Florence is a pretty village with strong Flemish influences. In medieval times the village was connected to Tenby by the Ritec Estuary, and St. Florence was a small port, even though it is now some three miles from the sea. St. Florence Mill, causeway or causey mill as it was known, was a water-driven corn mill. The residents of St Florence would have brought their grain here to be ground into flour. The mill dates back to the 1600's.

The cache is a small tupperware type box which contains a log book, pencil, first time find badge and small swaps.
