Gifberg Pass Water Tank Traditional Cache

Gifberg Pass, 20km dirt road outside of Van Rhynsdorp town, which is situated along the N7.
Gifberg pass takes you up to the mountain plateau with great rock formations, fynbos and views. Some of the farms offer B&B, 4x4 routes and hiking trails with SAN Paintings.
High ground clearance vehicle required once on top of plateau.
Almost at the top is a water tank, built under a permanent drip for the weary traveller. 437m HASL.
Great view out towards Van Rhynsdorp.
