[FRANCAIS] Cette cache se situe dans un site très isolé à 400m
d'altitude. Son accès est difficile en raison du dénivelé: 100m que
ce soit depuis le parking haut ou depuis le parking bas. L'accès
depuis le parking bas est plus long mais plus intéressant et passe
devant la cache Vieyres's
waterfall!
Accès à la cache
- Depuis le parking bas, suivre les indications fournies pour
Vieyres's
waterfall. A 50m de la cache (altitude 330m), prendre le
sentier montant sur la gauche. Suivre ce sentier jusqu'à STAGE1
(altitude 440m) et prendre à droite. En arrivant à STAGE2, prendre
le sentier peu visible continuant tout droit à altitude constante
(415m). Le sentier de droite redescend à la rivière.
- Depuis la cascade, il est aussi possible de remonter la rivière
(une corde, environ 50m en aval, permet d'atteindre facilement le
haut de la cascade). Suivre la rivière (hors sentier) jusqu'au
point VAR. Prendre le sentier (peu visible et glissant au départ)
sur la gauche et rejoindre directement STAGE2.
- Depuis le parking haut (altitude 530m), descendre en suivant la
piste jusqu'au point STAGE1 (altitude 440m) et prendre le sentier
partant sur la gauche. En continuant tout droit, on arriverait à la
cache Vieyres's
waterfall.
La cache Après avoir visité la grotte (attention aux
chauves-souris...), monter sur le promontoire en s'aidant du câble.
En face: le rocher des anglais! Attention au vide... La cache se
trouve derrière vous entre deux rochers, sous une pierre!
La cache de dimensions 15x11x7 cm contient initialement un pantin,
un coffret à bijoux, le log book, un crayon et un geocoin.

Access
Starting from the parking PK2, follow the same indications as for
Vieyres's
waterfall. 50 m before this cache (elevation 330m), take the
path climbing on the left till STAGE1 (elevation 440m). Then turn
right. At STAGE2, take the "path" (not visible during a few meters)
going ahead at constant elevation (415m). The path on the right
goes down to the river.
Starting from the waterfall, it is possible to continue upstream
along the river. Thanks to a rope present about 50 m before the
waterfall, access to the top of the waterfall is easy. Continue off
the track towards VAR reference point. Then take a path on the left
(not well visible and slick during the first meters) and go
directly to STAGE2.
Starting from the parking PK1, go down the trail towards STAGE1
(elevation 440m). There, turn left. If you go ahead, you arrive at
Vieyres's
waterfall cache.
The cache
After a look around the cave (attention - bats), reach the
promontary thanks to the cable. Don't fall from it! In front of
you: "Le rocher des Anglais".
The cache (15 cm x 11 cm x 7 cm) with a pencil and the log book is
behind you, between two rocks, under a stone.
