Questa cache è la quarta di una serie che vuole portarvi a visitare questa splendida villa. Se avete una bicicletta vi divertirete ancora di più, altrimenti anche a piedi è una piacevole passeggiata nel verde e fra monumenti storici. Nel parco sono presenti molte fontanelle di acqua fresca e punti ove fare ginnastica.

Villa Doria Pamphilj è un parco della città di Roma, che come molti altri parchi cittadini trae origine dalla tenuta di campagna di una famiglia nobile romana. È, inoltre, sede di rappresentanza del Governo italiano.
Nel 1849 la villa fu teatro di una delle più cruente battaglie per la difesa della "Repubblica Romana": le truppe francesi di Napoleone III il 2 giugno occuparono villa Corsini, allora alla periferia ovest di Roma e le truppe garibaldine tentarono invano di scacciarle. In quest'area della villa solitamente si riposano quelli che fanno jogging o che portano a spasso i loro cani, dato che ci sono panchine e una fontanella nelle vicinanze.

Fate molta attenzione, come al solito, i muggles possono essere in agguato!

This is the fourth cache of a series inside this splendid villa. If you have a bicycle you will enjoy yourselves more, otherwise on foot it is a pleasant walk in the green and among historical monuments. In the park there are many fresh water fontanellas and places to train yourself.

Villa Doria Pamphilj is the largest of the Roman parks (180 hectares), and like many other city parks it draws origin from the campaign estate of a Roman noble family. It is, moreover, one of the headquarters of the Italian Government.
In 1849 the villa was the scene of one of the bloodiest battles for the defense of the Roman Republic: the French troops of Napoleon III, on June 2nd occupied the main building, which stood where there is now The Arco dei quattro venti, inside the main gate of the villa at the top of the hill. Garibaldi, who lead the defense, tried to get it again. During the fighting that followed the house was lost and regained several times by both parties until it eventually fell into the hands of the French. In this area you usually find people resting on the wood benches after jogging or dog walking, close to a drinkable water fontanella.

Be very stealthy in managing the cache, muggles can be everywhere.
