Abduction

The town of Runcorn has given the UK many things. The first dedicated bus lane. The first ever shopping complex, and of course Britain's first ever alien abduction.

You may laugh and not beleive it but what is certainly true is that the British public had no conception of "Alien Visitors" until they allegedly decided to pay Runcorn a visit!

This alleged abduction occurred on Runcorn Hill where this cache is located. The area has been a hotbed of UFO activity ever since. UFO researchers class Runcorn as a "Window Area" for all kind of strange paranormal activity. The question you have to ask if that Alien visitors have the whole of the UK to choose from, why select Runcorn as your base? If you do see any unusual activity (from Aliens I mean not local people) please report it in your log. If you are lucky enough to be abducted and taken to the planet Zomdic (more on this later) then don't forget to take some travel bugs with you and put light years on their mileage!

From Runcorn To Zomdic

On 7th September 1957, James Cooke claimed he was hijacked by aliens in a flying saucer from Runcorn Hill, this very spot. He said he was taken to their homeworld, Zomdic, a planet orbiting a star light years away from our own solar system. On this planet, he said, the ground transportation system is operated by "manipulation of musical vibration", and no money is used in the Zomdic economy. (Perhaps this is what attracted them to Runcorn?) There he claimed to meet with the wise elders of the planet who instructed him to spread the word of "universal peace and harmony" to the rest of humanity. He was returned home 45 hours later. After a later contact, this time on Frodsham Hill, James set up the Church of Aquarius in the town. It became so popular that a second "church" was opened. Here, James "channeled" information from the elders of Zomdic. The church ran for 10 years before James disappeared from public view in 1969. Ever since then Runcorn has been awash with stories of UFO's, alien encounters and timeslips.
