Geocache Description:

A decon container down a short scramble from Oregon Creek Road.

To get here take Cedar Creek Road out of Superior. 2.7 miles up the pavement ends (GC1VQ1A Upham Creek is here) continue 3 miles to a fork, (GC1X71Q Fork in the Road is here) take the right fork and continue 2.8 miles to the cache. From the fork the road is single lane with pullouts, shouldn't be any trouble for most vehicles. About 200 feet past the cache is a pullout big enough to turn around if you are not planning to continue (GC1VPZW Lost Falls is at the end of the road).

These giant piles of rock were made by a gold dredge owned by the Kansas City Commerical Co. sometime between 1906 and 1913. I'm researching further historical information...
