It's only a 4 on the terrain because you will need a 4x4 to drive to the location or take a long hike up steep hills for this one. The cliff is unstable, but the cache is a safe distance from it. BYOP.
If you've ever driven on Vasquez Cyn Rd you've undoubtedly seen the white cliffs of Mystery Mesa, also known as Cruzan Mesa. Logging this cache will put you atop the cliffs. The edge is unstable so be sure to stay a few feet back. TCoozers and I once watched, from Vasquez near the Haskell/Solemint cache, as dirt and rocks silently slid down these steep cliffs with a puff of dust. Below is a link describing some of the geology about the area.
While we enjoyed the view from the 400ft high cliffs, our presence disturbed a flock of black crows that roost in the cliff below. They all took off and the group of us were treated to a show as they darted back and forth in large numbers.
