Sinevirske jezero / Sinevir lake

Jezero Sinevir, tez zvane Perla zakarpati je nadherne, 500m dlouhe jezero. Jezero ma rozlohu 4,2 ha. Prumerna hloubka je 8 az 10 m a maximalne; az 22 m. Uprostred jezera lezi take maly ostrov.

Jsou tri verze vzniku jezera.
1) nespravna - Jezero je pozustatkem ledovcove moreny
2) spravna - Jezero vzniklo sesuvem pudy a prehrazenim potoka.
3) povest - Mistni povest pravi, ze se chudy pastevec Vir zamiloval do bohate divky Sini. Rodice divky vsak byli proti jejich lasce a tak nechali mladeho Vira zabit a zakopat kdesi v horach. Sine vsak hrob sveho mileho nasla a plakala u nej tak dlouho, az se vytvorilo jezero, ve kterem se nakonec utopila. Ostrov uprostred jezera je zbytkem Virovy mohyly.

Samotne jezero je soucasti narodniho parku Sinevir

Sinevir Lake, also known as Pearl of the Carpathians is a beautiful, 500 meter long lake. The lake has an area of 4.2 hectares. The average depth is 8 to 10 m and a maximum of up to 22 m. In the middle of the lake lies the small Iceland.
Sinevir National Park is part of Flys's band Western Carpathians. Flys is characterized by alternating sandstone and clay. For the water permeable layers of sandstone alternating with impermeable layers of clay (causing, inter alia, high specific runoff and landslides). Therefore, flys's small mountain groundwater recharge. There is also a lack of mineral resources. Benefit to them in the sandstone, which is used for construction purposes.
