This cache is part of a geocaching game in Oslo, called Geopol. The cache series shows all streets in the norwegian version of the Monopoly game, with emphasis on historic places and how our city has changed over the years. Grensen is located north of the Karl Johan main street. The danish-norwegian king Christian IV "founded" the new city after the great fire in 1642. The city was named Christiania, and the design with right-angled streets is known as the "Kvadraturen". Several caches in the Geopol series shows this part of the old Oslo; Nedre Slottsgate; Øvre Slottsgate; Prinsensgate; Kongens gate. Stortorvet.
