Geocache Description:


This cache will take you to Leona Heights where you will see great bay views. It is a 16 ounce glass jar.

It is a moderately difficult hike will take half an hour to an hour to complete.

There are two ways to enter the trail. Both beginnings of the trail are uphill.
-enter off of Mountain Blvd next to Leona Lodge. Park on the street and not in the lodge parking lot. The trail is past two yellow gates and is marked "York Trail." If you take this route, take the trail to the end (it is quite rocky and steep but just for 20 mins) and climb the hill on the right, by following a path up the hill. You'll then come across a dirt road.
- enter on McDonell Ave. Park at the bottom and take the paved road up the hill. Trail is dirt road at the end on the left, marked by white gate.
