Nowingi Iron Clad Tank
The early Mallee Settlers were an inventive and resilient bunch. As water was very scarce in the mallee and the bore water brackish , rainwater was trapped and stored and pumped out as needed for the use of trappers , railway workers and the the steam trains that ran on the line past here and out to the gypsum mine.
