Skogsaboret #151
Rundt Midtskogen ble det i 1930 årene plantet en del fremende
bartrætyper.
De fleste tretypene ble plantet av førstekandidat Guttorm Andresen
som den gang var eier av Midtskogen.
Det ble totalt plantet ut 25 forskjellige treslag i dette
området.
11 av disse tretypene er plantet ut i så stort omfang at Norges
landbrukshøyskole har fulgt med på utviklingen av disse.
I området finner vi blant annet følgende arter:
Edelgranarter:
Abies Prosera (Noblegran) Opprinnelse Nordvest Amerika.
Abies Sibirica (Sibiredelgarn) Nord Russland.
Abies Mariesii (Uten Norsk navn) Japan.
Abies Balsamea (Balsamgran) Nord Amerika.
Abies Concoler (Coloradoedelgran) Vesterlig USA.
Lerkearter:
Larix Sibirica (Sibirlerk) Nordøst Russland.
Larix Decidua (Europeisk Lerk) Mellom Europa.
Larix Gmelini (Mongolsk Lerk) Nordøstlig Asia.
Andre Arter:
Thuja plicata (KjempeTuja) Nordvest Amerika.
Chamaecyparis lawsoniana (Lawsonsypress) Nordvest Amerika.
Pesudotsuga taxifolia (Douglasgran) Nordvest Amerika.

Cachen er en liten L&L typeboks med bytteting og loggbok.

Around Midtskogen were planted in 1930 years a number of forward
end bartrætyper.
Most wood was planted by the first candidate Guttorm Andresen that
the time was the owner of Midtskogen.
A total planted 25 different tree species in this area.
11 of these wood types are planted in large scale so that the
Agricultural College has followed with the development of
these.

Cache:
The cache is a small L & L type box with a trade and
sign.
