Geocache Description:

A cache located in Stewart State Forest along a quiet trail.

Stewart State Forest is part of a buffer zone for Stewart International Airport. The NY DEC now controls this land and information can be found here (visit link)

At the time this cache was hidden there are over 50 caches of varying shapes and sizes within this buffer zone. I felt it was time to give back to the many cachers who have placed these caches with one of my own as a way of saying thank you.

The cache itself is an ammo can just off a quiet trail where I passed 3 deer on my way in. I hope you enjoy the hike (or bike).
