The second of three in a series to take you along the Lerderderg , past market gardens, and along the Avenue of Honour in Bacchus Marsh on a 2.8km circuit
This cache takes you on an enjoyable stroll on the edge of Bacchus Marsh.
Start your walk from the picnic area. (S37 41.206, E144 28.678)
After locating No #1, take the well-defined path along the track to locate the 2nd in the series before turning left in between the market gardens. Some knowledgable locals have suggested the topsoil beside the river is up to 4M deep. It's no wonder they produce such fantastic fruit and vegies year after year.
The cache is off the path a bit, but should be an easy find.
