Geocache Description:

Cache is located alongside the scenic montgomeryshire canal and is the first of a couple i hope to set up.

Cache is located alongside the scenic montgomeryshire canal and on the 'Severn way' route and is the first of a couple i hope to set up.

Have a look at a map before going to find this as depending where you park the walk can be anything from a couple of hundred yards - nearest parking would be at New House lock - to several miles and whilst your walking along the canal tow path which is flat the surface conditions can vary from perfect gravel path to overgrown single track.

you could easily get a stroller and children to this location just be aware you are alongside a water course.

there are several easy to get to caches in the area so why not make a day of it
