Definition:
"An FTF hound is an
individual who is obsessed with being the first to find a new cache
and will go to extreme lengths to get it. They will often have SMS
messages sent to their wireless phone informing them of the latest
listing, will rise at "oh dark hundred" hours while outside
temperatures hover at a balmy -200C with howling winds
and a metre or more of snow just to be the first to see the
unsullied log."
And then there are the
rest of us who if we get an FTF, hey that was nice. As one of the
local FTF Houndz is fond of saying, "An FTF and a buck and half
will get you a cup of coffee".
The geek has given considerable consideration to the various types
of FTF Houndz out there and proposes three categories - this is the
second one - Big Dawg.
The geek considers one to have achieved the status of FTF Houndz -
Big Dawg if they have accumulated FTF's as per the table
below.
