A Rail-ly Fine View Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions

Cache is located on the dismantled railway line, now a footpath, between Gnosall and Newport. Path is flat, cycle-able and relatively buggy-friendly. There's a great view from near the cache, hence the pun-tastic name!
My first cache!
Once upon a time, trains used to travel down here from Stafford to Wellington but now it is a footpath. Whilst well-used in the Gnosall to Stafford direction, this section of the path is a lot quieter but sees a few cyclists, birdwatchers and walkers.
I decided to keep the cache location as accessible as possible but, if you can, it's well worth taking the path up the bank to see the lovely near-360 degree countryside view that gives the cache its name.
From the Gnosall direction, the path is pretty easy. It is also possible, but more challenging, to get here from the Newport direction (try following the waypoints 52° 45.291'N 2° 21.823'W -> 52° 45.338'N 2° 21.375'W -> 52° 45.766'N 2° 21.359'W -> cache location).
Road access to the path from the Gnosall direction:
52° 45.899'N 2° 19.185'W - 750m from the cache
52° 46.159'N 2° 18.564'W - 1500m from the cache
or why not start in Gnosall and visit some other caches along the way?
Container is Tupperware-type.
