Geocache Description:


The Wakefield Way is a 75 mile walking route around the Wakefield Metropolitan District and offers an introduction to the area's variety of attractive landscapes and wealth of history.

 

This cache is the fifth cache on a section from Middlestown to Horbury Bridge. The route takes you firstly through fields and then down down through woods and lanes to Horbury Bridge through some very picturesque scenery.

The paths in this section of the Wakefield Way are buggy friendly.

 

 

This is a 50ml screw top vial with only room for the log a v small trades

Stealth may be needed depending on when you visit

It is hoped that other cachers in and around Wakefield/Leeds area will also join in and place caches along The Way until we complete the circuit and encircle The Merrie City in a ring of tupperware. (Anybodywanting a map/.mmo file of the route please contact MikeG)
