Geocache Description:


Mt. Thielsen is a sight to behold as you are driving on Hwy 230 and Hwy 138. Did you know there is a well maintained trail that leads right up to the mountain? It passes though a beautiful meadow with Thielsen Creek running through it just before it intersects the Pacific Crest Trail. The trail is about 5 miles long and is open to hikers and horseback riders.

This cache is hidden at the trailhead for the Mt. Thielsen Trail. You are looking for a plastic container with various trade items. It is in view of the parking lot so please watch for muggles and rehide well as this is a very popular spot. The cache site is at 5454' elevation so will not be available after the snow flies.
