Reindeer Droppings - Deffer Wood Sentinel Traditional Cache
Ska Face: Checked on the cache following recent DNF's & it looks like major ground clearance at GZ has removed the sentinel and with it the cache.

A short walk suitable for all ages Near Cannon Hall / High Hoyland
The Wood Sentinel guards the paths of Deffer Woods.
He will block your way but may let you by if you have a Geocoin, TB or trinket to swap.
His stash can be found very close by - but be quick before he changes his mind!
Tree cover may be an issue here, but there is a clearing very close by to refresh your signal.
There are no severe climbs involved but the path can be muddy in places so please wear appropriate footwear.
The cache can be accessed via established pathways but may not be ideal with buggies or pushchairs as there are 2 stiles to negotiate.
Sheep & goats are often in the field by the wood & you are likely to put up grouse on your walk to the sentinels cache.
Suggested parking for 3-4 cars is on New Road at N53.34.404 W001.35.859
The cache is a medium size kliplok box with log book, pencil etc suitable for small swaps & TBs only.
