Located in a park in downtown Chicago; you are on your own for parking/transportation! Logsheet only - bring your own scribbler! At the posted coordinates, you'll be looking for a camo'd bison tube with coordinates for stage 2. At stage 2, you'll be looking for a black bison tube with a written description of where to find the final.
I took a walk one day last year during my lunch break, and from seemingly out of nowhere a couple emerged from what appeared to be a free-standing elevator. "Where the heck does it go?" I silently inquired, as I approached the elevator to explore.
It was like that point in the Wizard of Oz when the film turns from sepia tones to technicolor: a breach in the concrete and steel armor of the city gave way to the vibrant oasis known as Lakeshore East Park. There's a little something for everyone in here - grass for tickling bare feet, a splash pad for the wee ones, a place for doggie meet-n-greets, wildflower gardens, fountains, and now a cache! Enjoy!
This cache was placed with the able assistance of Liminal Man, who worked very hard to obtain the best possible coordinates the satellites and our respective GPSr's would cough up. That being said, though the area is fairly open, satellite reception can still be spotty, so the hints are intended to compensate for that.
