As part of the re-launch of geocaching within Irishtown Park, this new WhereIGo geocache has been hidden.

This WhereIGo adventure is a “tour” of one of several trails found within the park. The red trail itself is a nice walking and biking trail which takes you throughout various portions of the park.

During your tour of this trail, you’ll be given facts about the park itself, interesting locations within the park, wildlife and treelife within the park, as well as information about many of the other geocaches that have been placed there.

The tour starts at the main parking lot for Irishtown Park. This tour is unidirectional so once you enter an area that presents a new fact, you will not see any of the previous facts again. If you do not intend to finish the tour in one day, please be sure to “save” your game. The cartridge will autosave at certain points during the tour to allow you to find geocaches within the park without losing your spot on the tour.

This WhereIGo tour was tested on both a Garmin Oregon and a Blackberry running the OpenWIG WhereIGo player. If you experience any issues with the cartridge, please let me know.
