Red Hill Lookout Traditional Cache

The Red Hill lookout is the first one of Saddleback Ridge. The track is not as difficult as Saddleback Ridge but 4WD only. The lookout offers spectacular views of the surrounding escarpment. The Pentecost River crossing from the Township is very sandy and do not enter straight after rain because the banks can be steep and sandy.
The cache is a camouflaged small plastic jar with a logbook, pencil, sharpener and enough room for small swaps or coins. See spoiler photo. Watch your step as loose rocks around the edges can lead to slips and falls.
